just finished reading āSMOKINGTHE PIPE OF CONTEMPLATION Road to Revelation VOLUME 1ā by Rick Bartrand and it’s with much contemplation that I write this review. To say the book touched me is an understatement because I know I will have to read it again and again to fully grasp all the meat that it covers. Several thoughts within the book grasped me on first reading, for instance, āYOU teach people how to treat you by either letting them walk all over you or demanding they treat you with respect.ā and āAttitude is everything… start right out of the gate with; I will go into this with the attitude of, “I WILL do this UNTIL it works.” Stay completely away from the attitude of, “I’ll give it a TRY to see IF it works.”ā and āYour life is up to you. The more selfish you are, the more unhappy you are. The more selfless you are, the happier you are. It’s a simple choice, but you must break those old negative conditionings you’ve been wallowing in and get into life. Choose Love, Choose Life.ā There are many more but to much for 1 review. The book warmed my soul, brought to the forward of my mind guilt for the feelings I have had while also relieving me of guilt by working to make myself better. So I have to say well done Rick!
